We’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You’ll develop APIs, manage cloud infrastructure, and collaborate across teams to deliver seamless product experiences. Ideal candidates have strong expertise in Node.js, databases, AWS, and building systems that scale.
Key Responsibilities:
• System Architecture Design: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend systems to support a growing user base.
• API Development: Build RESTful APIs to power mobile and web applications.
• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Server Management: Manage cloud-based servers, ensuring uptime, scalability, and security.
• Integration: Integrate third-party services like payment gateways, SMS, and email.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve application performance, reducing latency and increasing efficiency.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end and mobile developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven Experience: 4+ years in backend development, preferably in startups or high-scale environments.
• Proficiency in Programming Languages: Expert in languages like Node.js
• Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• API Expertise: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and knowledge of GraphQL is required.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Security Awareness: Strong understanding of web application security, including OWASP principles.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in automating deployment pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to debug and solve complex backend issues in real-time.
• Scalability: Proven ability to build systems capable of handling millions of transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems and message queues like Kafka.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI/ML integration to enhance product functionality.
• Understanding of Indian B2B business workflows.
